Warhammer Forums

What about Warhammer Forums? While Warhammer is mainly about gaming, painting, and the hobby, it also has a strong community. There are many good forums out there for both Warhammer 40k and Fantasy, and all have great communities. Lots of people are part of many different forums; I for one, am signed up for four (for now!) :D

For all of you who still live in the stone age, a forum is an online discussion center, where people can post topics, respond to them, and talk about various things, eg. Warhammer forum. However there are many different forum topics, ranging from forum game sites, to clans, so on. It is essentially an online bulletin board.

Forums are a great way to be introduced to the Warhammer 40k hobby, especially if you do not know many friends that play Warhammer. You can ask questions about your armies, painting, converting, and even off topic randomness (spam). But please make an effort to post the off topic randomness onto a dedicated spam board ;) And keep the threads organized.

Most forums are free to join, simply create an account and post away!

There may be the odd number who are skeptical of signing up, either because they think it may be dangerous or bad. Fear not! Signing up is perfectly safe, but be sure to read all of the policies, and also be reasonable. If it asks for your address or phone number, chances are it isn't the best way to go.

Like I said above, I can't say enough of how good forums are (awkward wording there...) They can give you the answer to your questions that you were seeking for such a long time. They can provide you with a wealth of information, and you can't regret signing up to one.

But enough of that! Let's get on to some great forums, dedicated to Warhammer/Warhammer 40k, conversions, or other articles. Go on, make an account and start posting! You will never regret it.

The Tyranid Hive : A great site for all things Warhammer 40k, but the site is aimed toward Tyranids. Personally, I think that is one of the best forums out there.

Heresy Online : Another great site for all things Warhammer.

Dakka Dakka : An amazing forum, mainly geared toward conversions, but all other things Warhammer as well.

40k Online : This used to be an Eldar Only forum, but it upgraded and now supports most things for Warhammer.

Tau Online : A site dedicated to Tau, pretty awesome for Tau, but they also have great articles on other armies.

That should be a ton of info; go through it and you probably will find something good!

And if you are on any specific forum that you find very good, let me know!
