The Reaver walks.

After delaying you guys for so long, I finally got off my chair and took some pictures of my Reaver Titan, painted. It dominates the battlefield, capable of destroying nearly anything it glances at, and withstanding anything that the survivers can throw back, save the odd game where your opponent fields 4 Shadowswords...

Behold! The transportation device for the titan! In reality, it was a boot case that my dad got when he purchased an expensive pair of work boots. It had pluck 'n pick foam, so it worked out quite well. It makes transporting it a breeze.

And here we go:

Higher quality pictures can be found be either right-clicking on the images, and pressing "View", or looking at the public album, here:

http://s266.photobucket.com/albums/ii268/erazoender/Space20Wolves/

So there you have it! The Reaver titan is completed. What now?

Well, I think I'm going to write a 1750 point Space Wolf list, and I'll start painting that, but more importantly I think I'm going to either finish painting my Lizardmen, or start a new Fantasy army. I'm thinking of either a Dwarf army, or an Elf army. Maybe something more exotic, but I really wanted something that's close to vikings, and Dwarfs are the closest I can get to.

As for the site, I'm looking at new pages to update, create, etc. I didn't get a chance to work on the Tyranids yet, but in all honesty, I'm not liking Tyranids anymore. The new codex is just... replusive. And to be honest, 40k is starting to become a little more repetative... so I'm probably going to move into more Fantasy soon. I'm also looking at Tau, but I'm waiting until they get an updated codex.

So expect either Fantasy or more Space Wolves incoming.

Well......

I DID finish painting the Reaver titan. Like 20 days ago. And I fielded it in a huge apocalypse game. Let's just say I literally shortened the game and made some kids pack up.

It's quite stupidly powerful. But anyways, I have yet to take pictures of it because I HAVE YET TO FIND MY CAMERA. I think I painted it quite poorly... as I'm not a fantastic painter, but you know it'll do its job on the table. So whenever I get shots of the titan, I'll be sure to post the pictures up.

And in other news, I'm working on the updates to the Tyranid pages and tacticas, as well as the other armies (that I'm familiar with). So expect more updates fairly soon.

And also, I'm really lacking ideas for this site. If anyone has any suggestions for what I can do, or if anyone is also interested in purchasing the site, please let me know (via contact us)

New stuff.

Well then, as you all probably know, the new Tyranid codex has been released on the 16th, a week ago to this post. I have not actually had time to test it out, but on paper, it looks really... different.

My initial response to the codex was very negative, as they took out many of the things that gave us huge advantages. (Ignore instant death, auto-pass leadership check instead of fearless, without number, and Carnifexes. They didn't take Fexs out but they are pretty bad now) But replaced them with many new interesting features.

Firstly is the Trygon, as all of you know. This big baddy is pretty awesome, capable of ripping apart virtually any tough target it comes across, and combined with other Synergy combos, can be VERY tough to kill. Secondly is the Tervigon; oh my. This guy is pretty amazing. The ability to spawn Termagaunts is pretty wicked, but it can also make a unit have feel no pain??? That's just plain ridiculous. Just imagine, either a Trygon with feel no pain, or a huge gaunt brood with feel no pain. It makes me shudder. Lastly, the almighty Zoanthrope and Doom of Malant'ai. Zoanthropes are now incredible. See that Land Raider over there? Oh wait it's gone. They are a must in my opinion, as they give us the ability to finally take out those heavier targets at range. And the Doom is just plain stupid. I'm not even going to go into it, but it's cheap, and it's RETARDEDLY powerful. I'm sure you'll all agree.

Anyways, I shall be updating my Tyranid page fairly soon to accommodate the new codex, so check back for that.

Additionally, I will soon be posting pages of both my Space Wolves and my Tyranids... however not all of my models are fully painted so that is what I'm aiming to do first.

Lastly, my Reaver titan. Progress is actually coming along now, as I have motivation to finish the big boy before the 30th, as I have an apocalypse game. I have completed the entire body (Feet, Legs, Torso, Carapace, Head) What remains are all three weapons, and the shoulder pads. I can't believe that I'm actually painting it though... I was soooo lazy last year. Anyways expect another blog post very soon with pictures of how the Reaver titan is coming along.

Happy Holidays!

Hey guys, I finally got around to getting back to work on the site! Apologies for lack of updates for the past few months... I've been... busy. (I've also been through a null phase of playing Warhammer, but now I'm back into playing)

Well firstly, the Reaver. Um, well let's just say I've been very lazy recently. I've only just started painting the feet. My goal is to have it finished before the end of the month, as I have a large Apocalypse game where I'll get a chance to use it. So keep your eyes peeled, I'm almost finished with the first step of a long and grueling process. (Did I mention those things take a LONG time to paint? Jeeze)

Secondly, Tyranids! I have a rather large Tyranid army that was sitting in the shelves (8000 points+) because of lack of a good codex. But now with the new codex being released, I'll have more motivation to start using them again. Keep checking back for that...

And lastly, this site MAY be going up for sale sometime in the future. I'll be taking offers... please use the CONTACT ME forum to let me know if you are interested. This site has pretty good rankings, roughly 88 vistitors per day.

Again stay tuned for more information in the future!

This is what I've been waiting for in the mail, and it arrived! Here we are:

Higher quality pictures can be found by right-clicking on the images, and pressing "View".

I'm currently fixing little chips and cracks here and there, and rebuilding this part that broke off and I can't find the piece. The guns were annoying, but apart from that, this baby is in good shape.

When I get more screws I'll post pics of how it is when it stands. It's really awesome.

Alright, stay tuned. I'll tackle the project bit by bit; I still do have school and the rest of my wolves to worry about. I'll be getting the new Codex on the Saturday of release, so I'll be toying with lists throughout the weekend.

And in other news, a new Tyranid codex was announced for January. Oh my. This is a very expensive time for me; both of my 40k armies getting re-done back to back, and my Lizardmen got re-done back in the begginning of the year.

Anyways... thank you to all of you who have been checking back on the site. I'm hoping to get more work done sooner or later when I get the time.

Apart from that, I've decided to stop painting what I have until I purchase the new Space Wolf codex, or at least write a new list. God did you read the new book? It's gross! Especially their Psychic Powers!

Anyhow; I should be recieving the model in a few weeks so stay tuned. Until then I'll be experimenting with lists.

Stay tuned! And I think I finally got my contact me form working.

But anyways, the reason I'm posting this is there is possibly a big project coming up soon. I'm not certain, but it's possible. Stay tuned...

... are two Dreadnoughts. I can almost see the TSOALR comic of the two dreadnoughts in my mind... anyhow. This will be the last post this month, and with school coming up it will slow down a little bit, but I will do my best to keep up with my current pace. (1 update a week)

So here we go. The one with the little gold statue on top is the Venerable Dreadnought.

I am pretty happy with them (being my first vehicles) and they look much better then I expected them to turn out.

I'm guessing next up are the 2 attack bikes.

8 Vehicles to go!

Final Blood Claw squad.

Well it has come to this; my final infantry squad. Yay! I am quite happy of how this final unit turned out, they are a bit lighter and more detailed then my regular units. I didn't get a chance to write on the purity seals because I lost my Chaos Black paint... so those will be added once I get myself Black paint.

Only 10 vehicles to go...

Well, I guess the next projects are the Dreadnoughts. If anyone has any advice on painting Space Wolf vehicles, I would greatly appreciate it if you give me suggestions via the Contact me form; I have no clue.

Until next time!

Space Wolf Army List

Well, this is my current Space Wolf 1500 point army list. It's not exactly designed for ultra competitive gameplay, but not really casual either. Somewhere in the middle.

HQ:

Wolf Lord = 130
- Frost Blade
- Storm Shield
- Runic Armor
- Meltabombs

Venerable Dreadnought = 160
- Assault Cannon
- Extra Armor

Elite:

Dreadnought = 115
- Assault Cannon

Troops:

6 Grey Hunters = 162
- Bolter/CC weapon
- Meltagun
-Razerback

9 Blood Claws = 175 (Commander goes in here)
- Flamer
- Power Weapon
- Rhino

10 Blood Claws = 205
- 2x Powerfists
- Flamer
- Rhino

10 Blood Claws = 205
- 2x Powerfists
- Flamer
- Rhino

Fast Attack:

1 Attack Bike = 50
- Multi Melta

1 Attack Bike = 50
- Multi Melta

Heavy Support:

Vindicator = 125
- Siege Shield

Vindicator = 125
- Siege Shield

My only debate is whether I should swap the two Dreadnoughts for another Blood Claw squad in a Rhino with a Wolf Guard Battle Leader.

If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate input.

Anyhow, I'm almost done painting the final squad, I'm trying a new method of the scheme to make them a little lighter. (The first ones were too dark). If I think I like this variation more, I'll touch up the other models.

Well this is what I was up to.

I've been doing other things, so I'll let you in on what I was doing.

Can you guess now?

Lizardmen! I'm not going to put them in front of my Space Wolves as I would like to finish the Wolves first, but I did want to give them a coating of paint. You could tell I had the models for a while; they are the old Temple Guard and Kroxigor models. The Temple Guard are not fully completed, they still have some basing to be put on them, but apart from that this is what I got.

Anyways, this is what I was up to:

Okay, enough slacking. Back to painting. But this week is loaded; tomorrow Evangelion is released by Behemoth... so I'm going to the mall to pick that up, destroying my day. But when I get a free day to get a chance to paint my wolves, I'll put my back into it. And also, I'm going to touch the squads I already painted so far (The high-lighting was messy, and I'm going to lighten the armor).

So expect that in the near future!

Well this is what I have for you today folks, my second Blood Claws squad. They turned out slightly darker then my other one, but I used the exact same process. Strange.

Anyhow, next will be my final Blood Claws squad, and then on to the Vehicles! I still have no idea how to paint Space Wolves vehicles, so the first few will turn out rather... meh.

Well, I finished up my Blood Claws. This is using a different technique; it gives the model a darker look, but I like it. I think this is my finalized scheme for my wolves.

Well here is the finished Wolf Guard battle leader.

I don't understand, but the camera makes the model look much more messy then it actually is. Maybe it just doesn't register metallics as well as the human eye... anyways.

First Space Wolf squad

Well this is the first squad I managed to get up. I am not very happy with the results because I rushed them, but the actual process I think is decent.

It's a 6 man Grey Hunter squad with a meltagun. It's going in a Razerback.

What's next? Well I intend to work on my HQ next. So this is my Venerable Dreadnought, and my Wolf Guard Battle Leader. Additionally I have all of this:

Not pictured here are two vindicators, two attack bikes, and a rhino...

So much to be done!

Space Wolves!

Well I finally started on my Space Wolves. These Marines have a long story. I got them way back as my first army, and as such, I was a horrible painter. I even tried to do another coat of paint over them to make them look better, but I achieved nothing but giving them a 2+ armor save. So, I took on the project of salvaging them. I stripped them, and fixed them up, and now they are as good as new! (I will post an article on stripping later).

Anyhow, this is all I got so far; it is almost my entire 1500 point army. However my completed army will have an additional rhino, and two attack bikes.

This is my rough test model, I will spend much more time on individual models. I just wanted to see how the paint scheme worked. (As such, the highlighting was very poor.)

These are most of the models, primed and ready to be basecoated. I just purchased 2 vindicators, and stripped and fixed an old rhino I had, so those are not seen in these two images.

And now, the basecoated army. My god, I love the spray gun, I highly recommend it to anyone with a ton of models to paint. The only issue I've had with it, is that it burns through paint like crazy when spraying vehicles. The paint which sprayed 26 Marines and 2 Dreadnoughts, only successfully sprayed 2 Vindicators.

This is my Venerable Dreadnought. You can't see it really well, but there are lots of accessories that make it stand out opposed to a normal dreadnought.

And my Wolf Guard Battle Leader:

Well this is all I have for you today, I still have to decide what will be my first project to tackle. Probably my 6 Grey Hunters, to see how the paint scheme holds up.

Planetstrike.

It's interesting...

While it's not the be all and end all expansion, it is rather fun to play, and adds a twist to your normal 40k game. However I must say, I think it is leaned toward the Attackers... I mean seriously. You get an abundance of "Firestorm" bombardments, and all the protection in the world won't stop a determined player. With this in mind, Marines will have a tough time living against these bombardments, as they are Barrage AND ap 3.

Additionally, You get different Force Organization charts. The Attacker is only required one HQ choice, and has freedom everywhere else. The Defender on the other hand is forced to have two troops and an HQ, just like in your standard 40k scenario. However, the defender has access to SIX heavy support slots. That's how many Leman Russ tanks? *Shudders*

However this does offer unique army lists. Back are the days of Nidzilla, however this time they are on steroids. As an attacker, you can potentially have NINE Carnifexes, and THREE Hive Tyrants. What's more, they all are scoring units.

Heh, so anyways. Give it a shot, and see how it runs. It's fun, but I don't think it's serious enough to be considered a Tournament level game.

In other news, I have my Space Wolves almost ready to be painted, I will probably start posting a weekly blog on my painting progress.

I also will get rid of the Tactics section, because I will move the tactics to each of their respective armies, and replace it with an Army List section. (Because if I add it to each of the respective army pages, it will look extremely cluttered.

Tell me what you think!

Updating in progress...

Alright, not much today. I'm just starting to make updates to the site. First on the list is to make all of the pages have a matching bar at the bottom, and then I will start updating pages, starting with Warhammer 40k. In addition, I will soon add on the War of the Ring section... as soon as I add my army.

The contact me form is up, so if anyone wants to send suggestions, feel free to do so.

Site changes coming soon.

Alright, my apologies for the lack of updates on the site recently. But I have been rather busy lately, and have been procrastinating, etc. But anyhow, I have quite a few things planned for the site. Here is a list of my current ambitions for this site:

- Update all of the out-of-date pages that I have on the site.

- Add MUCH more information onto what is already there. I realize that much of the information is something people already know, and as such, is somewhat useless. I probably might add a "Condensed Tactics" and an "Advanced Tactics", or something along those lines.

- I have hopes to add a forum soon. I realize that this is what people love, and what keeps people coming back with an actual reason to do so.

- I wish to change the template with something more "Warhammer themed", as in backgrounds, banners, and so on.

- Start using the blog feature actively. Probably even for battle-reports, or campaigns, and more.

- Add a War of the Ring section. I recently tried out the game, and found it extremely fun. This is a must-do.

- Various other things, such as adding a "Contact me" form, and taking pictures of my armies and putting them in galleries.

Thanks for all of you guys who keep coming back! Hope to see you on a the (possible) forum!
